Russian captain of the Washington Capitals Alexander Ovechkin on Sunday, November 18, completed a double in the regular season match of the National Hockey League (NHL) against the Vegas Golden Knights.

The Russian scored in the 18th minute of the second period of the meeting and made the score 4:2. This puck became for Ovechkin the second for this game and the 12th in the season, reports "Sport-Express".

In terms of the number of goalies to whom Ovechkin scored in NHL championships, the Russian hockey player came in second place in league history, repeating the result of Patrick Marleau.
