Sobyanin reported about the destroyed drone on the approach to Moscow

Air Defense Forces have eliminated an attempted attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle flying towards Moscow. This was reported by Mayor Sergei Sobyanin on November 18.

"The Defense Ministry's air defense forces in the Ramensky city district repelled an attack by a drone flying towards Moscow. At the site of falling debris, according to preliminary data, there is no destruction and victims," - wrote the head of the city in Telegram-channel.

Sobyanin also added that emergency services are working at the scene.

Shortly before that, the governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, said that air defense forces had detected and destroyed 26 Ukrainian drones over the territory of the region.

Ukraine 's armed forces are trying to strike Russian territories against the backdrop of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
