The FSB and Rosgvardiya officers detained a resident of Mariupol for calling for violence against Russians in social networks. This was reported on November 18 by the official representative of the Russian Federal Security Service of the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) Oksana Semesenko.

It is specified that the detainee repeatedly published in a publicly available chat room in one of the messengers calls to carry out violent actions against Russians.

"The investigative unit of the FSS of Russia in the DNR initiated a criminal case under part 2 of article 280 of the Criminal Code of Russia (Public calls for the implementation of extremist activity)," - informed Semesenko.

The agency added that activities aimed at identifying persons carrying out illegal activities in social networks continue.

Earlier, on November 14, the Second Western District Military Court sentenced a Moscow resident to eight years in prison for fakes about the army. The charges were brought against the Muscovite in connection with her publications on her VKontakte page and comments to them.
