Forecaster predicts excessive precipitation in Moscow at the end of the week

Leading expert of the weather center "Phobos" Evgeny Tishkovets said that in Moscow at the end of the week will fall the monthly norm of precipitation - up to 40-60 mm. he wrote about it in his Telegram-channel on November 17.

According to the specialist, at the beginning of the week will remain elevated for November temperature background. On Monday, it is expected to +3...5 degrees Celsius, with light rain in some places. On Tuesday night, short-term wet snow is forecasted, which will then melt. The temperature will be +1...+3 degrees, while in the afternoon it will get warmer only by a degree. On Wednesday, there will be light wet snow, the temperature will be 0 to +2 degrees in the morning, warming up to +4 degrees in the afternoon.

Thursday, according to the meteorologist, will be the warmest day of the week. At dusk the air temperature will be up to +1...+6 degrees, and in the afternoon - up to +9 degrees, which corresponds to the climatic norm of October. On this day, rain is expected, the wind in gusts can reach gales of 15-20 m / s, reports the agency of city news "Moscow". Atmospheric pressure will drop abnormally to 725 mm Hg.

Intense showers will continue on Friday night, but it will be warm - thermometer columns will show +3...+8 degrees Celsius. At the beginning of the day, the rains will turn into charges of wet snow, the thermometer readings will indicate the reverse daily course - during the day the temperature will drop to -1...+4 degrees. A snow cover will once again form on the ground.

On Saturday in the capital region will again pass abnormal precipitation in the form of wet snowfalls, the snow cover will increase to 3-5 cm. the temperature will not rise above +2 degrees. On Sunday, a small snow is possible in some places, and also about 0 degrees, at night on the roads is expected to be slightly icy.

Thus, concluded the specialist, at the end of the week in Moscow will fall up to 40-60 mm of precipitation, which is commensurate with the entire monthly climatic norm of November.

As noted aif.ru, on Monday, November 18, according to scientists of the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy IKI RAS and ISZF SB RAS, no magnetic storms are expected in Moscow. In the afternoon in the city is expected cloudiness, light rain and up to +5 degrees Celsius.
