The governor reported 26 destroyed UAVs over the Bryansk region

The air defense forces have detected and destroyed 26 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the territory of the Bryansk Region. This was reported by Governor Alexander Bogomaz on November 18.

"At present, the air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation have detected and destroyed 26 unmanned aerial vehicles of the aircraft type," - said the head of the region in Telegram-channel.

Bogomaz specified that the work of air defense means to repel the attack by Ukrainian drones continues.

Shortly before that, Alexander Bogomaz said that the air defense forces reflected an attempted attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with the use of drones in Bryansk region.

Earlier, on November 16, Bogomaz reported the elimination of two drones over the region. There were no casualties or damage.

The armed forces of Ukraine are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
