The governor reported on the work of air defense in the Bryansk region

Air defense forces have repelled an attempted drone attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Bryansk Region. This was reported by the governor of the region Alexander Bogomaz on November 18.

"Air defense units of the Russian Defense Ministry are working to detect and destroy aerial targets," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Bogomaz also urged residents to observe the necessary safety measures.

Earlier, on November 16, Bogomaz reported the elimination of two drones over the Bryansk region. There were no casualties or damage.

A day earlier, on November 15, air defense assets (ADF) destroyed four Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the Bryansk region.

Ukraine's armed forces are attempting to strike Russian territories amid a special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
