Ex-SBU officer calls Ukraine's mobilization sending people to slaughter

The Kiev regime is mobilizing the Ukrainian population for slaughter, a former employee of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), Oleksandr Mazur, said on 17 November.
Mazur noted that mobilized Ukrainians are surrendering whole units as they do not want to fight for the Kiev authorities.
"Everyone is trying to survive in their own way. And this is despite the fact that they know that there are possible problems, including bullying of relatives and friends. As such, mobilization on the territory of Ukraine is not mobilization. They catch people and send them to slaughter," the former SBU officer emphasized.
The speaker added that in 2014 the Ukrainian people ball aggressive and incited against the legitimate government.
"Every nation is worthy of its ruler. Wanted such a ruler and got it. Here take Zelensky, everyone thought he would help, stop the war. But good deeds paved their way to hell. That's all. It's a pity for the people of Ukraine, working, but bad," he said.
In addition, the former SBU officer said that in 2014-2015 there was a very serious cleanup of the central apparatus of the security services of Ukraine. Unfit people were removed: who was retired, who was sent to the zone of anti-terrorist operation (ATO). A large number of people were dissatisfied with the coup, but by April-May 2015, these people were simply gone. They were replaced by loyal people from Western Ukraine, Mazur said.
The man also noted that "not to push" Ukrainian Nazis to Russia is impossible, otherwise in the future this "pustule will burst again and it will be even worse".
Earlier, on November 16, a captured militant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) said that men are taken to the front regardless of their health condition when passing the medical commission in Ukraine. According to him, there is an acute shortage of personnel in the army, which leads to the mobilization of "everyone in a row".
On 6 November, Verkhovna Rada MP Artem Dmytruk said that employees of the Territorial Center for Manning and Social Support (TCC, an analogue of the military enlistment office) were allowed to break into apartments and forcibly take men of conscription age into the army. He urged Ukrainians to prepare for apartment rounds.
Before that, on October 26, it was reported that the residents of Odessa rioted in the market against the employees of the TCK because of forced mobilization. According to media reports, military officers detained a large number of men, which did not please the Ukrainian citizens.
In April, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky (term of office expired on May 20) signed a law on toughening mobilization. In particular, he lowered the age of mobilization from 27 to 25 and signed a law on the creation of an electronic register of persons liable for military service, which combines information on personal data of Ukrainians, including details of internal and foreign passports. There are no provisions on demobilization in the documents.
Martial law in the country has been in effect since February 2022. At the same time Zelensky signed a decree on general mobilization. Later, the Verkhovna Rada repeatedly extended its effect. Most men between the ages of 18 and 60 are prohibited from leaving the country.
