In Belarus reported about the organization of the presidential campaign in a normal mode

The election campaign for the presidential election in Belarus, scheduled for January 26, 2025, is going on calmly, without excesses. This was stated by head of the Presidential Administration (PA) of Belarus Dmitri Krutoy on air of the TV channel "Belarus 1" on November 17.

"It's an absolutely calm process. Of course, we are dealing with the president's schedule in the first place," said Krutoy. He also said that the contenders are communicating with the CEC. The head of the AP of Belarus mentioned that the collection of signatures for the nomination of presidential candidates is now underway, for which pickets are held.

Earlier, November 14, Lukashenko said that a woman might become president of Belarus in the future, but not now. He suggested that over time the country might be ready for a woman president, "to such a style," but so far it's not.

Earlier, on October 23, it became known that the presidential election in Belarus is scheduled for January 26, 2025. On the same day, Lukashenko announced his intention to run for office.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on October 24 that Russia would support the candidacy of the incumbent Belarusian leader. Peskov emphasized Lukashenko's value in the development of Belarus as a sovereign state and ally of Russia. He also pointed to the special friendly relations of Russian President Vladimir Putin with his Belarusian counterpart.
