The most in-demand employees in Russia in 2024 have been named

The most in-demand employees hired in 2024 in Russia are sales and client development managers. This follows from the results of a study by experts of the cloud CRM-system for recruiting Talantix (part of the HR-ecosystem of hh.ru services), which were reviewed by Izvestia on November 18.

According to analysts, employers most often made requests to find specialists in the field of sales and customer service (38%). The demand for such managers in January-September 2024 increased by 23% compared to the same period of 2023. Small and medium-sized companies need such employees the most.

Sales managers were on the first position of the rating due to global changes in the Russian economy, experts noted.

"Today, many companies are forced to restructure their business processes: to look for new trading partners and suppliers to replace those who have left, to enter other market niches, including import substitution. Business is becoming more and more flexible, quickly adapting to a different reality, including by hiring new specialists with deep expertise in sales and customer service," explained Marina Khadina, Director of Development of CRM-system Talantix.

Workers (34%) and administrative staff (23%) were also hired frequently this year. On the fourth position in the ranking of popularity of professions with employers were specialists in service maintenance (20%). Besides, IT-specialists (15%), top and middle managers (14%), retail trade employees (13%) are in demand. The ten closes the specialists of three areas - financial, transportation and advertising - with the same percentage (12%).

Earlier, September 13, it was reported that in the first three months of 2024 in Russia, the number of employees of organizations continued to grow and reached the maximum value for the last three years - 43.3 million people. This follows from the data of the Higher School of Economics. The number of hours worked on average by one employee has also increased.
