Russians told about plans to extend New Year holidays with a vacation


The "Work.ru" service conducted a survey and found out what Russians plan to do before the New Year. Izvestia" got acquainted with the results on Monday, November 18.
Thus, 9% of the surveyed Russians plan to extend the New Year holidays. Another 7% will take a vacation or days off until December 29, and 2% - after January 8. In addition, 16% of respondents have not yet decided on their plans.
In addition, 40% of survey participants are going to finish all the previously scheduled tasks during these days. Another 37% will be engaged in shopping and preparing gifts, and 29% of respondents plan to decorate the house or apartment.
Also 23% will prepare food for the festive table, and 14% are going to prepare a New Year's party. Another 9% plan to work or work part-time and prepare for the New Year as much as possible. And 26% of respondents noted other options, among which the most popular was traveling.
At the same time, 12% of respondents will be happy for their colleagues who will take a vacation at the end of December to extend the New Year vacations. 75% of respondents are neutral on this issue, and 13% will be indignant.
Earlier, on November 6, "Izvestia" got acquainted with the research of Tiburon Research and "Golden Apple", according to which more than half of the surveyed Russians consider it inappropriate to give gifts on Valentine's Day (55%), professional holidays (56%) and Easter (69%). At the same time, 97% of Russians named birthday as the obligatory occasion to give a gift, 92% - New Year, 58% - Mother's Day and Father's Day, 53% - Christmas.
