Court in Moscow does not arrest swimming coach in child abuse case


Nagatinskaya district court of Moscow has chosen a measure of restraint for a swimming coach of a children's recreation center, who used physical violence against a disabled child in the pool. This was reported on Thursday, September 26, in the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of the capital.
It is specified that the man is accused under part 1 of article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Production, storage, transportation or sale of goods and products, performance of work or rendering of services that do not meet safety requirements").
"The decision of the Nagatinsky district court of the city of Moscow elected a measure of restraint in the form of a ban on certain actions against Sergey Alexandrovich Sayapin for two months, until November 24, 2024", - stated in a message in the Telegram-channel of the courts of the press service.
Earlier in the Network spread a video in which the coach in the children's pool on the street General Belov grabs a disabled child by the hands and forcibly plunges into the water with his head. As noted, the events recorded by the CCTV camera took place on September 22.
Earlier, in December 2023, the coach of the children's hockey team of the city of Velsk, Arkhangelsk region, beat more than a year five wards with a stick. The court sentenced him to imprisonment for three years eight months conditionally with a probation period of three years six months. In addition, he was banned from working in the fields of education, upbringing and development of minors for two years. The court also satisfied civil claims for compensation for moral harm.
