Peskov commented on the introduction of fines for insulting representatives of the authorities

People have the right to criticize the government of their country as it works for the benefit of its citizens, but insults remain unacceptable. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday, September 24.

"Criticism and insults are different concepts, so the government should not be free from criticism. Representatives of the authorities work for the good of the people," the Russian presidential spokesman pointed out.
