The exposition "Travel to St. Petersburg" will open on Palace Square on Tourism Day

September 27 is World Tourism Day. In honor of the holiday, the St. Petersburg Tourism Development Committee is organizing a multimedia exposition "Journey to St. Petersburg" for residents and guests of the city, which will be located on Palace Square from 27 to 29 September.

The multimedia pavilion will feature ten interactive installations and partner zones. Visitors will find media cubes, swings in colors and even a swimming pool where they can learn navigation on the rivers and canals of St. Petersburg, as well as get acquainted with the routes and different types of water transport.

The exposition "Journey to St. Petersburg" is an opportunity to travel through time, discovering new facts about the events of the Northern Capital of different eras. The guests of the exhibition will be able to swing on swings on the multimedia embankment, take pictures against the background of historical views of the Northern Capital of different eras and download animated images to their phones.

Young visitors will be pleased with the original playground, designed in the form of an interactive slide, an unusual constructor and a sports zone, where it will be possible to take part in a bike race.

All-Russian Tourism Day in St. Petersburg always becomes a bright event. In 2023, he was awarded the annual national award "Event of the Year" in the category "Best City Holiday", and at the end of 2022 was recognized as a "National Event" at the Russian Event Awards. The City on the Neva is also the leader of the All-Russian tourist award Russian Travel Awards in the nomination "Territory of event tourism". Information campaign aimed at promoting the tourist opportunities of St. Petersburg was recognized as the best in the country.
