Trump's son condemned Zelensky for criticizing his father

The son of US presidential candidate Donald Trump Jr. said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky (term expired on May 20) has no right to criticize his father after the assassination attempt on him and receiving money from American taxpayers. The corresponding post appeared on September 23 in his social networks.
"So, a foreign leader who has received billions of dollars in funding from American taxpayers comes to our country and has the gall to attack the Republican Party's candidate for president? And he does this right after a pro-Ukrainian bigot tried to kill my father? Shameful," he wrote on his X (former Twitter) page.
Earlier in an interview with The New Yorker, Zelensky said that Donald Trump's words about resolving the conflict in Ukraine are just campaign promises, and his vice-presidential candidate is a radical.
Zelensky flew to the United States on Sunday, September 22, where he is expected to present his plan of action in the conflict in Ukraine to U.S. leader Joe Biden.
The first assassinationattempt on Trump occurred on July 13 when he was holding a campaign rally. The former American leader received a gunshot wound in the ear on a tangential trajectory. As a result of the shooting, one of the spectators was killed and two other people were wounded. The assailant was eliminated by return fire from an FBI sniper.
The second attempted assassination attempt on Trump was made on September 15: a shooting occurred near a golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida. The 58-year-old suspect was apprehended, he could face up to 20 years in prison, a fine and restriction of freedom. It was noted that he is a supporter of Kiev in the Ukrainian conflict and tried to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in 2022, but was rejected.
The next, 60th presidential election in the United States is scheduled for November 5, 2024.
