Alaudinov claimed to have rescued fighters from encirclement in Kursk region

The fighters who had been surrounded in the Kursk Region for over a month have been released. Major General Apti Alaudinov, deputy head of the main military-political department of the Russian Defense Ministry and commander of the Akhmat special forces, said in his Telegram channel.
"I was leading the guys out of the area where they had been under complete encirclement for more than a month. We had no way to access them," the message reads.
He specified that most of the fighters have already been sent to hospitals in Moscow and other regions.
Earlier, on September 23, specialists of the engineering unit of the Rosgvardiya discovered a drone "deception" of the AFU in the Kursk region.
Ukrainian militants attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk Region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a state of emergency of federal character. The operation to destroy the AFU continues.
The Russian President called what happened a large-scale provocation and called on the authorities of the Russian regions to get involved in helping the residents.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
