Alaudinov reported the destruction of two AFU drone control points


Akhmat special forces have destroyed several pieces of equipment and two drone control points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Sujan area of Kursk Region. About it, the deputy head of the main military-political directorate of the Russian Defense Ministry, Major General Apti Alaudinov reported in Telegram-channel.
"Our units with joint efforts today destroyed two drone control points, one motor transport, one mortar and another pickup truck with a paratrooper was destroyed by the guys. This is on our direction. If we talk about our neighbors on the right, the Kalinev direction, well, and in total along the entire line the guys were slowly moving forward, knocking out the enemy," he said in his video message.
Alaudinov also said that the Kursk direction has not undergone any special changes after the operation. In addition, he said, the fighters who were surrounded for more than a month in the Kursk region after the AFU attacked the region have been withdrawn. According to him, most of these fighters have already been taken to hospitals in Moscow and other regions.
Earlier, on September 23, the crew of a Su-34 fighter jet of the Russian Air and Space Forces (AFS) struck a cluster of Ukrainian army personnel and military equipment in a border area of the Kursk Region.
Ukrainian militants attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk Region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a state of emergency of federal character. The operation to destroy the AFU continues.
The Russian President called what happened a large-scale provocation and called on the authorities of the Russian regions to get involved in helping the residents.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
