Ukrainian media reported explosions in Poltava region


Sounds of explosions were heard in Poltava Region of Ukraine amid an air alert. This was reported on September 24 by the Ukrainian edition "Public" in its Telegram-channel.
"In Poltava community heard the sounds of explosions," - specified the edition.
According to the online map of the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation, an air alert has been declared in Odessa, Kiev, Khmelnitsky, Vinnitsa, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkov regions of Ukraine and Kiev-controlled parts of the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR).
The Russian Defense Ministry did not comment on the information about the explosions.
Earlier, on September 23, explosions were reported in the Kiev-controlled part of Zaporizhzhya Region. According to the Ukrainian daily Strana.ua, a series of explosions also occurred in Sumy and in Chernihiv Region in northern Ukraine.
Russian forces began striking military facilities and related energy and communications facilities in Ukraine in October 2022. As explained by Russian President Vladimir Putin, this was in response to the Kiev regime's terrorist actions.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
