Ukraine reported explosions in Kiev-controlled part of Zaporizhzhya region


Explosions have occurred in a part of Zaporizhzhya Region controlled by the Kiev regime. This was reported on September 23 by Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhzhya regional military administration appointed by the Ukrainian authorities.
"An explosion in the Zaporizhzhya region," his message in his Telegram channel reads.
A few minutes later, Fedorov added that more explosions were heard in the Kiev-controlled part of the region.
In addition, according to the Ukrainian publication Strana.ua, a series of explosions also occurred in Sumy and in Chernihiv region in northern Ukraine.
"Explosions are reported in Sumy, Zaporizhzhya and Chernigov region," - noted in a message in the Telegram-channel.
According to the online map of the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation, an air alert was declared in Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Cherkasy, Kirovograd, Kharkiv and Mykolayiv regions of Ukraine.
The Russian Defense Ministry did not comment on this information.
The day before, on September 22, it was reported that there was an explosion in Ternopil in western Ukraine, part of the city was left without light. Later in the Ternopil military administration reported that the explosion occurred at the transformer substation 110 kW, as a result of which a fire started. At the same time, no air alert was declared in the region.
Russian troops in October 2022 began striking military facilities and related energy and communications facilities in Ukraine. As Russian President Vladimir Putin explained, this was a response to the Kiev regime's terrorist actions.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region.
