Russian Defense Ministry tells about the feats of the Russian military in the NWO zone

On September 24, the Russian Defense Ministry reported new feats of Russian servicemen who risked their lives to successfully perform combat tasks during a special military operation.

The ministry noted the actions of junior sergeant Alexander Saponchik. The assault group in which the serviceman performed the task was conducting offensive actions to liberate one of the settlements from the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in an important tactical direction.

During the battle, one of the Russian troops' armored personnel carriers was hit and caught fire. Saponchik, in turn, promptly unlocked the landing hatch, evacuated the crew and after first aid delivered them to a medical unit.

The Defense Ministry also singled out the actions of the evacuation company commander, Guards Lieutenant Roman Rusin. He, together with his subordinate personnel, carried out the tasks of evacuating weapons, military and special equipment damaged during the fighting.

Despite active fire from the enemy and the use of drones, the guards lieutenant accomplished his task without losses. Thanks to his high professionalism and impeccable command skills, the repair and evacuation teams under his command evacuated more than 60 units of damaged armored and automotive vehicles from the battlefield during the year 2024.

Earlier, on September 23, Guards Private Andrei Anashkin as part of an assault group successfully destroyed a machine gun crew and together with his fellow soldiers broke through the AFU defense. Thanks to their actions, the Russian army was able to advance further in an important direction.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the aggravated situation in the region.
