Ex-Dynamo basketball player Asim Pars died at the age of 48


Basketball player Asim Pars, who played in Dynamo and the Turkish national team, died at the age of 48. This was reported on September 23 in the press service of the Turkish basketball club Fenerbahce.
"With deep regret we learned that Asim Pars, our national athlete who played in the 2000-2001 season, has passed away," the text of the message reads.
The club expressed condolences to the family, friends and fans of the athlete.
On the page of the club "Galatasaray", for which Pars also played, in the social network X (former Twitter) specifies that the body of the athlete was found in his home in the city of Kalesija in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Asim Pars played for Dinamo and Lokomotiv Rostov, in Turkey he played for clubs Fenerbacce and Galatasaray, Efes Pilsen. He also took silver at the 2001 European Championship.
