In Russia, companies were awarded for the best initiatives in employee care
"Sogaz summarized the results of the Sustainable Health Award aimed at supporting and promoting the best initiatives of companies in the field of employee care.
The winners were determined in seven nominations. Four of them were selected by Sogaz experts. The winners in other nominations were determined by open voting.
Metalloinvest, Gornozavodskcement, and Sibur Holding became the best in the Professional Health and Safety nomination. They were recognized for their initiatives aimed at preventing occupational diseases and accidents at work.
Rosenergoatom, Moscow United Energy Company, and Rosseti Moscow Region won in the Health Without Borders nomination. Their initiatives focused on the prevention of chronic non-infectious and seasonal diseases were recognized as the most successful.
The winners in the Health as a Lifestyle nomination (Rusvietpetro, RusHydro and the Central Health Directorate - a branch of Russian Railways) were awarded for projects aimed at changing the lifestyle of employees and preventing risk factors for the development of chronic non-communicable diseases.
T2 Mobile, Remind and Generium won in the category "Happiness for Health" - they have the best initiatives to implement employee support programs and develop a culture of health and well-being.
"Severstal Management was selected as the winner in the Strategic Initiative category, which was voted for by the professional community. And the winner in the popular vote in the Inspiring Initiative category was the Central Directorate of Health Care - Russian Railways branch.
"According to recent studies, companies that actively take care of their employees' health not only reduce staff turnover, but also increase overall productivity," said Natalia Komarova, Executive Director of Sogaz Personal Insurance. - Our goal is to be a partner for companies in creating a healthy working environment.
