The police are conducting an investigation into the fact of fraud against two employees of educational institutions in the Irkutsk Region. The victims lost more than 3.2 million roubles.

The 49-year-old head of a school was the first to file a complaint with the police. According to the woman, she received a call from a stranger who introduced himself as a law enforcement officer. He said that a check was allegedly being conducted against the victim. Under the guidance of the interlocutor, the woman took out a loan and transferred over 3 million rubles to a "safe" account. Similarly, the swindlers deceived a 75-year-old teacher in Ust-Kut. The woman transferred 185 thousand rubles to an unauthorized account.
