Rats found at pelmeni production facility near Krasnoyarsk where a family was poisoned

Rats were found at the production of dumplings, after the consumption of which affected a large family in Krasnoyarsk region. This was reported on Monday, September 23, by a source of IA "Regnum".

In addition to rats, according to the agency, employees of Rospotrebnadzor found ants and drosophila at the production of LLC "Factory of semi-finished products "Vdobo". It also found out that meat and dough containers were washed with a solution with excessive chlorine content, and some shelves had rust on them.

In addition, it is reported that the inspection of the enterprise took place back in 2019. Then five violations of sanitary norms were found in the production: an administrative protocol was issued and the factory was ordered to eliminate violations.

Family tragedy: four children poisoned to death in Krasnoyarsk region

The couple lost all of their children and are now in the hospital in serious condition

The poisoning of a family in the village of Krasnaya Sopka in the Krasnoyarsk region was reported on September 21. The victims sought medical help at the hospital with signs of nausea and vomiting. As a result of a sharp deterioration of health, the underage brother and sister died. Later, on September 22, a third child died, and on September 23, a fourth child died. The adults were in serious condition, they regained consciousness only in the morning of September 23.

As reported by the Rosselkhoznadzor department, the store where the poisoned family bought dumplings with chicken, sold products with violations of veterinary requirements. A criminal case was opened under part 3 of article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Production, storage or sale of goods and products that do not meet safety requirements, causing death by negligence").

The spouses gave testimony to the investigators. In particular, the mother stated that she did not add foreign substances during the preparation of dishes. Employees of the prosecutor's office seized in their house a loose substance of light color and an antibiotic for cattle, stored in the refrigerator. It also later became known that the family's house had been treated with dichlophos on the day of the tragedy.
