Freezing temperatures down to -7 degrees and wet snow predicted in Transbaikalia

Weather forecasters have warned residents of the Transbaikal Territory about frost and wet snow. The temperature will drop to -7 degrees Celsius in the next 24 hours.

According to forecasts, rain and wet snow will occur on the night of September 24 in the west and southeast of the region. In other areas precipitation is not expected, writes IA ChitaMedia.

The air temperature in the dark hours will be -2...-7 degrees. In the daytime hours the air will warm up to +16...+21 degrees.

Wind speed will be 3-8 m/s, in some places gusts up to 8-13 m/s are possible.

On the night of September 23, the first autumn frosts were recorded in the Moscow region. The temperature dropped to -2 degrees in Mikhailovsky and New Moscow.
