St. Petersburg resident who killed and poured acid on his lover pleaded guilty


A resident of St. Petersburg, who killed his lover and put her in a barrel of acid, pleaded guilty to the crime. About it on Monday, September 23, reported the Department of the Investigative Committee (IC) in Telegram-channel.
"The suspect is charged, the question of electing a measure of restraint in the form of detention is being decided. Investigative actions aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the crime committed are being carried out," - reported in the agency.
The incident in the apartment on Baltiyskaya Street in St. Petersburg became known on September 21. A woman appealed to law enforcement authorities with a statement that her ex-husband killed his cohabitant and placed the body in a plastic barrel, pouring acid.
The Izvestiya source reported that the murderer himself confessed to his ex-wife, writing her a message in Telegram, after which he threatened to kill her. At the scene, investigators found a container with the remains of a woman's body in the attacker's car. A criminal case was opened under part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder").
