In Balagansk, a schoolboy hit three classmates with a hammer

In Balagansk, Irkutsk region, a schoolboy attacked his classmates, as a result three children were injured. This was reported on September 23 by children's ombudsman for the region Tatyana Afanasyeva.

The incident occurred in the sports locker room. As Afanasyeva specified, thanks to the actions of the teacher avoided irreparable consequences.

"Three guys received minor injuries. One child was given medical assistance, the wounds are minor, the mother refused to hospitalize her son, the child is under the outpatient supervision of doctors. Other guys did not seek medical help," she wrote in Telegram-channel.

The school staff detained the eighth-grader and handed him over to the staff of the investigative and operational team that arrived, according to a report in the Telegram-channel of the regional head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. It was also reported that the police conducted a check on the incident.

A criminal case has been opened over the incident, the Investigative Committee (IC) directorate for the region said in Telegram.

"Zalarinsky inter-district investigative Department of the IC of Russia for the Irkutsk region initiated a criminal case on the signs of a crime under part 3 of article 30, paragraphs "a", "c" part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation ("Attempted murder of two or more minors"), part 1 of article 293 of the Criminal code ("Negligence")", - specified in the department.

Earlier, on September 16, at school № 68 in Chelyabinsk, a student attacked other students and teachers with a hammer, the emergency occurred after a conflict between the student and his classmates. As a result, five people were injured: four children and one adult. Criminal cases have been opened under articles on the organization of murder and negligence, the attacker has been detained. The Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko took control of the situation with the provision of assistance.
