Two wrecks will be removed in Murmansk by September 2025

Two wrecks are planned to be removed in Murmansk. The corresponding orders were signed by the captain of the seaport, reports IA "Bi-Port" on Monday, September 23.

The ships in question are MK-0149 "Breeze" and MK-0301 "Zapolyarye". The former sank on January 14, 2021 near the southern side of the pier. The government of the region should develop and agree with the port captain the documentation on the removal of the vessel until November 20. The work should be started by December 20 and completed by September 20, 2025.

The vessel "Zapolyarye" also sank near the southern side of the pier, but on April 9, 2024. Development and approval of documentation should be completed by November 18. Removal of the watercraft is scheduled to begin by December 18, and to be completed by September 18, 2025.
