- Vorobyov told about the stages of preparation for the heating season in the Moscow region

At a meeting of the regional government on Monday, September 23, Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyov told how the preparation of heating networks for the upcoming heating season is going on.
According to the official, specialists have started work in advance, taking into account three main areas. It is about the condition of boiler houses and their uninterrupted power supply, about networks prepared in time for the season and readiness of apartment buildings for it.
The governor instructed the heads of districts to inspect houses "more meticulously and strictly" and prepare them for winter, taking into account the complexity of the dilapidated fund, RT writes.
Vorobyov reminded that the last winter was difficult and revealed problem areas in heating systems. Failures most often occurred in private boiler houses, some of which have now managed to take under regional control, reports 360.ru. All urban districts, where there were problems on heating networks, checked first of all.
The head of the region noted that the current situation "looks good", but it is still important to keep the momentum and not to slow down, reports RIAMO.
On September 15, the press service of the State Unitary Enterprise "Moscow Regional Emergency and Recovery Service" (MOS ABC) reported that in preparation for winter in the Moscow region tested 96% of available heating networks, notes the agency of city news "Moscow".
According to the results of 2023 in 11 urban districts of the Moscow region built new boiler houses or reconstructed existing ones, repaired a total of 46 km of heating networks, recalls the website kp.ru. Also 56 new boiler houses were built, eight central heating stations and over 40 km of heating networks were reconstructed.
In the capital the main works on preparation for winter were completed by the end of August. Correctness of equipment operation was checked at 13 heating and electric centers, 24 pumping stations, writes NSN.
