A map of unsafe places for women has been created in St. Petersburg

An interactive map of unsafe places for women has been developed in St. Petersburg. It is posted on the website of the volunteer project "Poputchitsa", reports TV channel "78" on Monday, September 23.

The map shows several dozens of locations that women are warned about. The service allows you to mark the points where users have encountered molestation, assaults, homeless, thieves or alcoholics.

The goal of the project is to create a safe and supportive space for women's self-organization and self-protection. As the activists explained, their goal is to change cities for the better together through the tools they have developed: maps, a supportive community and an app.

Earlier, in September, Izvestia wrote what new tools have appeared in the arsenal of modern alfons. These include, for example, inducing a victim to take out a loan remotely and stealing money from a woman's accounts via her smartphone.
