Within the framework of the project "Technological Competitions", launched in 2020, 32 competitions have already been held in the capital, uniting promising capital startups and large businesses interested in the implementation of innovative solutions. The Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin told about it in his blog.

Each contest is dedicated to a certain topic and lasts about two months. State corporations and large companies prepare the terms of reference, and young high-tech companies offer their solutions for it. At the first stage potential customers choose 30 solutions, after a series of meetings with developers 15 winners remain, and their solutions are implemented in the practice of the capital's business. In total, 921 startups have taken part in the Technology Competitions project since its inception. 60% of the participants work in Moscow. Customers have conducted 593 pilot tests of projects, and more than 50% of technologies have been introduced into everyday practice. The total amount of attracted investments amounted to 1.89 billion rubles.

According to Sergei Sobyanin, among the solutions offered by the startups there are products and services for a wide range of business spheres. For example, this is a navigation system for the capital's railway stations, which allows passengers to calculate the optimal route to the desired platform and digitalization technologies for facilities, which make the construction process faster, better and safer.
