Restrictions on entering Tikhoretsk in Krasnodar Region, which were imposed after an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), have been lifted. This was announced by the governor of the region Veniamin Kondratyev on September 23.

"All restrictions on entry to Tikhoretsk have been lifted, traffic is open," he wrote in Telegram-channel.

It is reported that special services have finished the work of checking the territory and eliminated fires.

The governor emphasized that residents of the area are returning to their homes after temporary accommodation in hotels for safety reasons. Educational institutions and kindergartens are also returning to work in the normal mode.

Earlier, on September 21, it was reported that in the town of Tikhoretsk, Krasnodar region, an attack by AFU drones was recorded. Kondratyev noted that two Ukrainian drones were suppressed by means of air defense (air defense) and electronic warfare (REB). The falling wreckage of one of these drones caused a fire that spread to explosive objects and they began to detonate.

Thedemining work on the territory of the Tikhoretsky district was completed on Sunday, September 22.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
