All forest fires have been extinguished in the Khabarovsk Territory

All forest fires were extinguished in Khabarovsk Krai last weekend. Any fire works are restricted in the region.

Over the past week there were six fires in Solnechny, Verkhnebureinsky, Vaninsky districts, as well as the district named after Polina Osipenko. The total area of burning amounted to 94.5 hectares. There was no threat to settlements and economic facilities. Aircrafts were involved in extinguishing, IA AmurMedia specifies.

The Ministry of Forestry and Timber Processing reminded that the special firefighting regime continues to operate in 12 territories of Khabarovsk Krai. Local residents are forbidden to carry out fire works and build fires.

For violation of fire safety rules in the forests citizens face an administrative fine. In conditions of special fire regime it reaches 1 million rubles, in case of deliberate arson - up to 2 million rubles.
