A former elite serviceman from Ireland was liquidated in the special operation zone. This was reported by The Irish Times on September 23, citing sources.
"It is known that the former serviceman was killed in action on Thursday, September 19, although it is unclear whether colleagues managed to find his remains," - stated in the material of the publication.
The soldier joined the Ukrainian army at the beginning of a special military operation and was seriously wounded in late 2022. However, in early 2024, he returned to the zone of the SWO.
The soldier was a member of the Ranger wing of the Defense Forces and had significant combat experience in Ukraine. Details about the place and circumstances of the liquidation are not yet available, clarifies "Gazeta.Ru".
