- Court finds that those who sold the car to the Crocus attackers knew about the terrorist attack

Family members from Tajikistan, who sold a Renault Symbol car to the perpetrators of the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall concert hall near Moscow, knew about the attack. This was reported by TASS on September 23 with reference to the case file.
In the decision of the Basmanny court of Moscow to extend the arrest of the accused it is said that this information is confirmed by operative-search activities, testimonies of witnesses and victims, as well as the results of searches and inspections.
Dilovar and Aminchon Islomov, natives of Tajikistan, and their father Isroil Islomov (all three are on the list of terrorists and extremists of Rosfinmonitoring) are accused of aiding terrorists. The Renault Symbol foreign car, in which the participants of the attack on Crocus tried to escape after the attack, belonged to one of the brothers. All three do not admit their guilt, while the defense claims that the Islomovs themselves came to the investigative authorities when they saw their former car in the video reports of the media, and testified about the circumstances of the sale of the car.
On August 20, Basmanny Court extended the term of preventive measure in the form of detention for Dilovar, Aminchon and Isroil Islomov, as well as Alisher Kasimov (included in the list of terrorists and extremists of Rosfinmonitoring) until November 22. During the hearing, the Islomovs and Kasimov, who were led into the hall in handcuffs one by one, burst into tears in the defendants' booth.
The terrorist attack in "Crocus City Hall" took place on March 22. Terrorists in camouflage stormed into the building, shot and set fire to the concert hall. The attack killed 145 people and injured 551. The Russian Federal Security Service said that after the terrorist attack the attackers were going to cross the Russian-Ukrainian border, they had contacts on the Ukrainian side.
A criminal case has been opened under Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist act"). On June 1, it was reported that more than 1.7 thousand people were recognized as victims in the case of the terrorist attack in "Crocus". On the same day it became known that 20 defendants are accused in the case of the terrorist attack , 18 of whom have been arrested, two more are under a custodial sentence.
