The Russian Aerospace Forces have struck four locations of militants hiding in hard-to-reach areas of Homs and Deir ez-Zor provinces in Syria. This was reported during a briefing on September 22 by the deputy head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Enemy Parties in Syria (CRIS), Captain First Rank Oleg Ignasyuk.

"In the provinces of Homs and Deir ez-Zor, the Russian Armed Forces launched strikes on four identified locations of militants who came out of the Et-Tanf zone," he said.

Also, Captain First Rank noted that during the day three episodes of violation of the provisions of the Dec. 9, 2019 deconfliction protocols related to uncoordinated flights of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) with the Russian side were recorded by the so-called international anti-terrorist coalition led by the United States.

In addition, Ignasyuk added, the center recorded 10 aviation violations of the region's airspace in the Et-Tanf area during the day.

"In the area of Et-Tanf during the day recorded 10 violations by the coalition aviation of the rules of use of airspace of the Syrian Arab Republic: a pair of F-15 fighter jets (twice), a pair of A-10 attack aircraft (twice) and two reconnaissance and strike drones MQ-9", - said the speaker.

Earlier, on September 17, Ignasyuk said that the Russian crew of the Su-35 aircraft of the Russian Air and Space Forces successfully prevented a collision with an MQ-9 unmanned aerial vehicle of the US-led international coalition in the skies over the Syrian province of Homs.
