Russian embassy clarifies number of casualties in car mine blast in Pakistan

One policeman was killed and three others were wounded as a result of a mine explosion of the escort vehicle of the delegation, which included Russian Ambassador Albert Khorev. This was reported by the Russian Embassy in Pakistan to Izvestia on September 22.
"At the time of the explosion in the car were police officers escorting the motorcade, in which traveled, among others, ambassadors of several states, including the Russian Ambassador to Pakistan A. P. Khorev," the embassy said.
It is specified that the motorcade was heading from the town of Mingora in Swat District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province to Malam Jabba locality in the same district.
Earlier in the day, the Russian Embassy reported that none of the representatives of the diplomatic corps were injured in the mine explosion of the delegation's escort vehicle.
Albert Khorev was appointed Russian Ambassador to Pakistan by presidential decree on November 10, 2023.
