FPV drone units attacked AFU positions in the Kursk Oblast border region

Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) calculations of the "North" group of troops in one of the border areas of Kursk Region have struck Ukrainian army positions. On September 22, the Russian Defense Ministry showed footage of combat work of the military of the Russian Armed Forces (AF).
Russian servicemen are working with the most modern drones. For example, with the help of kamikaze drones, the military can easily inspect the line of contact at any time of day and regardless of weather conditions. The drones are equipped with special cameras to work in the dark.
Operators of reconnaissance drones detect targets of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and then transmit their coordinates to operators of strike UAVs. To deter or destroy manpower, squad numbers use improvised explosive devices, while heavier projectiles are used to eliminate equipment. Drone squads with weapons ready to attack travel to takeoff points and strike targets with extreme precision.
Each new launch requires a change of basing point, at the expense of which the calculation remains undetected by the Ukrainian military.
"There are a lot of targets: from temporary enemy firing points to small armored vehicles. [Tasks] come in daily, even hourly. We go to a point, work out and leave for a temporary deployment point," said the deputy commander of the UAV platoon with the call sign Malek.
Drone detectors are one of the main tools of the drone operators, which not only determine the location of the object, but also its model.
As the ministry representatives noted, all specialists of unmanned aviation calculations have been trained in drone control, reprogramming, repair and assembly of new UAVs.
Earlier, on September 20, the Defense Ministry reported that the latest Molniya UAVs, which are extremely effective in combat and assaults, played a significant role in the liberation of the village of Georgievka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This drone is equipped with a homing head that simplifies the targeting process. The drone is also resistant to electronic warfare (EW) systems, as the device is capable of reaching the target on its own.
Ukrainian militants attacked Russian positions in the border areas of the Kursk region on August 6. The operation to destroy the AFU continues. The situation in the region was recognized as a federal emergency.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
