A magnitude 6 earthquake was recorded in Argentina

In Argentina recorded an earthquake with a magnitude of 6 points. This was reported on Saturday, September 21, by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC).

Epicenter, according to the center, was located 158 km north-west of the city of San Luis with a population of about 183 thousand people. The source lay at a depth of about 130 km.

There is no information on casualties and damage.

Earlier, on September 15, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 was registered off the coast of El Salvador. It is specified that it was recorded at 22:58 local time at 78 km southwest of Santa Tecla.
