The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have launched strikes on three populated areas in Belgorod Region. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties. This was reported by Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov on September 21.

"In the Belgorod district in the village of Nikolaevka as a result of dropping an explosive device from a UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle. - Ed.) a parked passenger car caught fire. Fire brigades promptly extinguished the fire," wrote the head of the region in Telegram-channel.

Also, the governor of Belgorod region reported that the roof of one of the private houses caught fire in the village of Yasniye Zori due to the arrival of ammunition. The fire has been liquidated.

"In the town of Shebekino as a result of an FPV drone attack, the roof of an MCD (apartment building. - Ed.) was damaged," Gladkov noted.

Other data on the consequences of the AFU attacks are being specified.

On September 19, Gladkov reported that as a result of the AFU attack on Shebekinsky city district two private houses burned down. In addition, as a result of shelling in the village of Petrovka, Belgorod district, windows were broken in two private houses, roofs and fences were slashed, and a farm building was burned down on one of the house lots.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the backdrop of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
