- The U.S. noted the intensity of Russian Air Force strikes against militants in the Kursk region

The Russian Air Force continues to use Su-34 strike fighters to intensively bomb Ukrainian troops in the Kursk region. On Saturday, September 21, the US-based Military Watch Magazine (MWM) wrote.
"These strikes are aimed at stopping the flow of reinforcements (AFU. - Ed.) [to the Kursk region]," the article says.
It is noted that the Russian aviation widely uses bombs equipped with planning modules, which allows aircraft to remain out of range of the enemy's means of destruction. The munition, as noted, can be used at a distance of several tens of kilometers from the target, while it is highly accurate, the magazine points out.
Earlier in the day it was reported that the crews of army aviation on Ka-52M helicopters of the Russian army destroyed personnel and equipment of AFU units in the Kursk border area. Images from the scene were published by the Russian Defense Ministry.
Ukrainian militants attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk Region on August 6. The operation to destroy the AFU continues. The situation in the region was recognized as a state of emergency of federal character. For the entire time of fighting in the region the AFU lost over 15.65 thousand people.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
