A case has been opened after a deadly fight between a child's father and stepfather in St. Petersburg

A criminal case has been opened in St. Petersburg after a fatal fight between the father and stepfather of a child, which took place on September 20 on Shavrova Street. This was reported on Saturday, September 21, in the Department of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation in St. Petersburg.

"There was a fight between three men, as a result of which one of the participants in the conflict - a 50-year-old man died at the scene from injuries received," - indicated in the Telegram-channel in the Department.

It is specified that the case is initiated under the article "Causing death by negligence". At the moment, investigators continue to establish all the circumstances of the incident.

Earlier in the day it was reported that in Omsk cab driver killed his wife and tried to escape from the police. As specified, the chase for the attacker occurred on the night of September 21, the man was detained. What was the motive of the crime is still unknown.
