In Singapore, a varan interrupted the final F1 practice session
In Singapore, the final training session of "Formula 1" had to be interrupted because of the appearance on the track Komodo varan. This was reported by the TV channel "20 minutes" on Saturday, September 21.
During the reptile walk on the track were two single-seater cars belonging to pilots Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll.
For safety reasons, a red flag was raised to interrupt free practice and remove the lizard from the track.
It is specified that the animal was not injured.
Earlier, on September 7, in the German city of Arnstadt, a hedgehog blocked the runway. It is noted that the pilots of a single-engine light aircraft FK-9, having received a favorable weather forecast, were to depart from the air club in Thuringia to the aviation festival in Hesse. But an animal prevented them from doing so in time.
