The air defense means of the Russian Armed Forces (AF) have shot down 177 drones and six long-range Neptun missiles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) over the course of the day. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on September 21.

"Air defense means shot down six Neptune long-range guided missiles, three Hammer guided aerial bombs made in France, 10 HIMARS rockets made in the United States and 177 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles of aircraft type," the ministry said in a statement.

In addition, the Russian military by operational tactical aviation, drones and artillery struck a dry cargo ship with missiles transferred to Kiev by Western countries. The Russian army also destroyed a warehouse of AFU missile and artillery weapons.

In addition, there was a fire attack on the accumulations of personnel and military equipment of the Ukrainian army in 153 areas.

Earlier in the day, the ministry said that the drone calculation of the Arctic brigade of the group of troops "Dnepr" destroyed the electronic intelligence station "Plastun" in the Kakhov direction. The station was found with the help of a reconnaissance drone, and then a strike drone was launched at the target. The commander of the UAV platoon with the call sign Topaz indicated that the AFU is actively using "Plastun" in the Kakhov direction, so the station became one of the highest priority targets for Topaz's unit.
