Russian military FPV drone destroyed an AFU UAV in the Kursk border area


Russian military FPV drone destroyed an armored combat vehicle (ACV) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the border area of Kursk Region. The Russian Defense Ministry published footage of the work of the drone operator of the "North" group of troops on Saturday, September 21.
Servicemen of the reconnaissance unit of the "North" group of troops at night using a UAV detected the movement of an AFU armored combat vehicle, the crew of which tried to hide it in a forest belt in the Kursk border area.
After analyzing the data received, a decision was made to fire at the enemy armored vehicle.
The detected target was promptly destroyed. The means of objective control recorded a direct hit and explosion of the Ukrainian armored vehicle.
Earlier, on September 19, it was reported that the Rosgvardiya destroyed about 30 units of AFU equipment in the Kursk region. Six tanks, more than 10 armored fighting vehicles and more than 10 units of nationalist vehicles were destroyed.
Ukrainian militants attacked Russian positions in the border area of Kursk Region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a state of emergency of federal character. The operation to destroy AFU formations continues.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
