- The identity of the driver in Mytishchi who dragged dogs across the asphalt on a car has been established

Law enforcers have found out the identity of the animal abuser who tied two dogs to a car and dragged them along the asphalt in Mytishchi, Moscow Region. This was announced on Saturday, September 21, by the official representative of the Russian Interior Ministry Irina Volk.
"My colleagues near Moscow have established the identity of the driver who allowed the cruel treatment of two dogs. <...> Police officers are taking measures to detain the offender," Volk wrote in her Telegram channel.
She added that the question of instituting criminal proceedings against the animal abuser is being decided.
The Mytishchi administration told Izvestia that after the incident they filed a petition about cruel treatment of animals with law enforcement authorities. The incident is under the control of the prosecutor's office, and search measures are being carried out.
Police began checking after earlier in the day in social networks appeared in the video, filmed in the SNT "Mosvodokanal-2", on which a car drives down the street, to the rear bumper of which two dogs are tied to the rear bumper, which the car dragged on the ground.
Earlier, on July 29, it was reported that the staff of the capital's veterinary clinic danced with animals immersed in anesthesia and mocked the dead dog, filming it on video. From the unprofessional behavior of specialists two pets died, two more suffered. It is important that the clients of this clinic have previously repeatedly reported mysterious deaths of their pets.
Anna Feldman, director of the Kotospas urban cat protection fund, commenting on this situation to Izvestia, called for an expert examination of the suspicious death of a pet after the intervention of veterinarians in order to then challenge the clinic's actions in court.
