Two people were killed as a result of AFU shelling of Horlivka


Two people have been killed as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) of the Stroitel residential area in the Nikitovskyi district of Horlivka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR). This was reported by the mayor of the city Ivan Prikhodko on September 21.
It is specified that the Ukrainian army struck the DNR last night. During the attack of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) killed a bus driver. Also, a female resident of the city who was injured died in hospital. Prikhodko expressed condolences to the families and friends of the victims.
In addition, two people were injured in Gorlovka.
"As a result of Ukrainian armed aggression tonight damaged the boiler house in the center of Gorlovka," - wrote the mayor in his Telegram-channel.
Earlier, on September 20, three people were killed and 15 civilians were injured as a result of the AFU shelling of the DNR territory. Also damaged were private houses, objects of civilian infrastructure, including the building of the bus station, a store and a closed warehouse. In Gorlovka, a fire tanker truck of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, a bus of route No. 2 and a private car were hit.
Ukrainian militants have been shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis amid a special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russia announced on February 24, 2022.
