- Volunteers of the "Bars" detachment told about the preparation for the protection of border areas

The training of volunteers who will defend Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) as part of the "Bars" detachment continues. "Izvestia" talked to servicemen on September 21.
The volunteers' training lasts one month, during the first 10 days of which the military receive basic skills, including conducting firearms training, as well as erecting dugouts and first aid.
"The turnstile is taken out, applied as high as possible, pulled, tightened. A spinner works. In 18 seconds, the fighters manage to do everything," explained an instructor of the volunteer unit "Bars-Belgorod" with the call sign Doc.
According to one of the instructors, to prevent inaccurate hits, you should stand in a stance with your elbows and weapons firmly pressed against you.
The skills practiced during the training period are necessary to successfully fight Ukrainian fighters, as those, the volunteers noted, do not pay any attention at all to who they are firing at.
"[The Ukrainian armed forces] hit any infrastructure, whether it's peaceful or not. They don't discern. This is fascism. They do not spare women, children, or the elderly," pointed out a fighter of the volunteer unit "Bars-Belgorod" with the call sign Sailor.
As noted by Izvestia correspondent Alexei Poltoranin, the squad includes volunteers who defended Donbass, such as a fighter with the call sign Zloy, who liberated settlements in the Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics (LNR and DNR). Now, according to the military man, he is ready to go to the front line to defend his native region.
Earlier, on September 12, Deputy Defense Minister Colonel-General Yunus-Bek Yevkurov announced the beginning of the formation of the Bars detachment in the Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions bordering Ukraine.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
