Su-34 struck AFU manpower and armored vehicles in the border area of the Kursk Region


A crew of the Su-34 multirole aircraft complex of the Russian Air and Space Forces (VKS) has struck and destroyed an accumulation of personnel and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in one of the border districts of Kursk Region. On September 20, the Russian Defense Ministry showed footage of the crew's combat work.
The ministry noted that the Russian aviation attacked the positions of the Ukrainian army using aerial bombs with a universal planning and correction module (UMPK).
After using the means of destruction, the crews of the fighter jets returned to the departure site. All reconnaissance targets of the Ukrainian army were destroyed.
On the eve, the Defense Ministry reported that Russian Su-25 aircraft struck a cluster of AFU manpower and armored vehicles in the border area of Kursk region.
Also on September 20, crews of Su-25 attack planes carried out a similar operation, destroying AFU manpower and military equipment in the border area of Kursk Region.
Ukrainian militants attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk Region on August 6. The operation to destroy the AFU continues. The situation in the region was recognized as a state of emergency of federal character.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
