Air defense forces destroyed 16 more drones over the Bryansk region

Air defense forces destroyed 16 more drones over the Bryansk region, no one was injured. This was reported by the head of the region Alexander Bogomaz on September 20.

"16 unmanned aerial vehicles of aircraft type were detected and destroyed by the air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation," he wrote in his Telegram-channel.

According to him, the reflection of the enemy attack over the territory of the Bryansk region continues.

There are no casualties and destruction. Operational and emergency services are working on the spot, Bogomaz added.

The same evening Bogomaz said that two Ukrainian drones had been destroyed over the Bryansk region. Later he added that the region reflects an attempt of a massive attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with the use of drones. Then the governor informed that air defense forces destroyed 10 more drones over the Bryansk region.

On September 18, Bogomaz told about 10 destroyed drones over the Bryansk Region. According to him, there are no casualties or damage as a result of the attempted drone attack.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
