Snipers disrupted the rotation of the AFU on the Donetsk direction

Snipers of the Southern Group of Forces have destroyed the living force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and also disrupted the enemy's rotation in the Donetsk direction. On September 21, the Russian Defense Ministry showed footage of the Russian military's combat work.

A reconnaissance unit identified hidden AFU firing points at one of the sites. The scouts promptly transmitted the coordinates of the target, which the sniper unit was sent to destroy.

The work of snipers is considered to be the highest priority method of destroying the Ukrainian army's manpower. Despite the great risks, the Russian military continues to carry out combat missions.

This time snipers with accurate shots from a distance of 400 meters not only destroyed Ukrainian fighters, but disrupted the rotation of the AFU, which was supposed to take place in the dark.

"Working in twos with a senior sniper. The time of day was night. It turns out, sat in ambush, waiting for the rotation. They began to rotate. At a distance of 400 meters they worked [targets]. This is normal for a sniper, I think, because we have to be able to work in urban conditions and in forested areas. Nothing is difficult for us, but sometimes we encounter difficulties," said the sniper with the call sign Patriot.

As a rule, the average time of waiting for targets for snipers ranges from eight hours to several days, so concentration and stamina are extremely important in such conditions.

The day before, servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces (AF) spoke to Izvestia about the liberation of the village of Georgievka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) with the help of the latest Molniya unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which are extremely effective in combat and assaults.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
